The II AI with Educational Impact Awards, promoted by Smile and Learn and sponsored by Foredu and Rossellimac, have recognized some of the most innovative educational projects that integrate this technology to transform learning and promote new pedagogical methodologies.
In this second call we have registered a wide participation of teachers from all over Spain, with proposals that stand out for their pedagogical quality, creativity and practical approach. The high level and creativity of the projects submitted made the jury’s deliberation especially difficult. Finally, these were the winning projects:
- Early Childhood / Elementary Education: Saving the School Isle: A Mission for Knights and Squires, by Julia Fajardo (CRA Camino Real de Levante, Iniesta)
- Secondary Education: Is Your Brain Being Hacked?, by Carla Monté (Colegio La Vall de Bellaterra)
- Post-compulsory Education: Independent Adults: Independent living skills for young people with ASD, by Jorge Román (CEE El Corro, Valladolid).
- Special mention to bilingual project: Solar System Coding Mission, by Jorge Veses (CP San Félix de Candás).
- Special mention to a project for Special Educational Needs (SEN): La liga de los invisibles, by Jacob Sancho (CEIP Las Rozas de Guardo).
Artificial intelligence for educational purposes
These Awards have invited teachers to design educational projects using AInara, an artificial intelligence tool specifically designed for the creation of educational content.
The projects have been evaluated taking into account criteria such as pedagogical quality, innovation, inclusion, collaborative work and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
Awards Ceremony
The awards will be presented during “AI with purpose: from tool to educational impact”, an event organized by Smile and Learn, which will bring together teachers, experts and educational leaders to share real experiences of using artificial intelligence in the classroom.
The meeting will take place on April 28 at CaixaForum Madrid, and will include the screening of outstanding projects, a talk by the expert Melchor Gómez -director of the ERIA Chair (Employability and Responsibility in AI) UAM-Founderz-Microsoft-, the presentation of real cases and a final networking space.
With this initiative, Smile and Learn reinforces our commitment to an ethical and accessible educational artificial intelligence that allows teachers to personalize learning, foster creativity and prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century.
